This coffee is from German Carranza from Amazonas, Peru. A beautiful place in the north of Peru where nature is truly abundant and the coffee has beautiful rich soil to grow in. We had the pleasure of visiting El Bebedero with German and his beautiful family as our hosts. Seeing his healthy trees on his different sites, his processing infrastructure and hearing about his plans for future experimental fermentation and expansion. We cupped Germans coffee while in Peru and really loved it!

Peru is a coffee power house and we believe it does not get the recognition it so totally deserves! It is often an origin associated with other qualities, washed coffees to go in espresso blends, but Peru is an incredibly diverse landscape with micro climates all throughout where producers are doing amazing things and working to show that they have so much more to offer. German Carranza and his family are some of those producers and we are really excited to see what they will offer in the harvests to come.

This washed processed coffee is sweet, juicy and of course, clean.
